Fertility Pathways
Egg, sperm or embryo donation represents the most feasible way of conceiving successfully for many of our patients. LCRH provides access to leading donor banks and treatment clinics, as well as linking patients with professional counselling and advice services.
Situations where egg or sperm donation may be considered include:
Couples who cannot produce sperm or eggs of their own.
Couples who have tried repeated unsuccessful cycles of IVF.
Women with a low ovarian reserve (with too few or poor quality eggs).
Solo Parents and Single people.
Same-sex couples.
Women who have had cancer treatment which has lowered their ovarian reserve.
Parents at risk of passing on genetic conditions to their children.
